Wellhead Protection Program
Allows a district to take charge of protecting the quality of their drinking water by identifying and carefully managing areas that supply groundwater to their wells.

YOU CAN HELP KEEP YOUR DRINKING WATER SAFE!
Inform the water district of any potential contamination sources in the area such as:
- Abandoned wells
- Under/above ground storage tanks
- Past spills/leaks
- Car washes
- Dry cleaners
- Vehicle repair and/or salvage operations
- Landfills/dump sites
- Cemeteries
- Gas stations/machine shops
- Backflow (see Rules and Regulations 20.7.4)
